Quality Assurance

- Occurs during the execution stage

- Focus on “Are we following the standards”

- Performed through quality audits

Quality Control

- Occurs during the Controlling stage

- Focus on “Are we meeting the standards”

- Performed through quality inspection

To perform the quality assurance & control most of the tools & techniques are common in nature and will be identified as part of quality management plan during planning stage.
