Basically PMBok has a very consistent usage of tools

ie. "Audit" for quality assurance & "Inspection" for quality control.

Outcome of quality assurance will be an Audit report which contains the result about audit (conformance, non conformance, observation & recommendations etc.)

For example: Quality Assurance focus on "Are we following a set of standards" & Quality Control focus on "Have we met the standards"
