Congrats to Mr. Wissam Al-Zahab for clearing PgMP Certification

Passed the PgMP Exam Today 27-Jul-15

I'm pleased to inform you that I've passed my PgMP Exam today 27-Jul-15...

It was a tough journey however alhamdulillah at the end the desired benefits were realized

Below are my lessons Learned for PgMP aspirants:

1) Read the Lessons Learned provided in this Group.

2) Attend a PgMP Classroom Training Course to get the basic concept. During the training course try to identify your knowledge strength and weakness in each domain.

3) Start digging deeper into PgMP knowledge and skills by reading thoroughly the SPM 3. (Focus on the sections where your knowledge is weak). Multiple readings are needed till you grasp all sections and recognize their concepts. At this stage you need to read the PMBOK to refresh your memory.*

4) Read the ECO and study the listed tasks and try to link it with the knowledge you acquired (e.g. draw a table mapping the tasks with the Program Phases, analyze and take notes…etc.) to better understand their sequence.

5) Practice on the PgMP Scenario Questions as much as you can. (For my case I used the simulation tests provided by Simplilearn and the Scenario Questions provided by Intellectarea.)

6) I suggest visiting the testing center before the Exam date for familiarization.

*Note: Many PgMP concepts as well as many Exam questions are related to the PMBOK, thus if you are not PMP certified or you don’t recall the project level skills and knowledge, you need to read and understand well the PMBOK.

A special thank to: Dr. Ginger, Anup Kumar, Parsuvanath and Nidal Amr for their help and support during my study.

Mr. Wissam Al-Zahab is the 30th PgMP credential holder from Saudi Arabia
